Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Asia Playmats 2016

OCG Asia has outdone themselves for the playmats this year.

The designs have improved significantly with a good balance of colors and contrasts. The Ebon Magician duo and the 4 Dimension Dragons are my personal favourites.

This article will cover all official playmats that were distributed in the OCG Asia regions in 2016. The playmats are listed in chronological order by date of distribution.

This playmat was given to the 12 invited players of the Asia Championship SP 2015.

Featuring Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon and Priestess with Eyes of Blue, this full-size playmat is printed on a glossy surface.

There were only 12 copies of this playmat given out.

 

This playmat was awarded to the Top 4 players of the Asia Championship SP 2015.

Featuring Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer, Majester Paladin, the Ascending Dracoslayer, Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer and Amorphactor Pain, the Imagination Dracoverlord, this full-size playmat is printed on a glossy surface.

There were only 4 copies of this playmat given out.

 

This playmat was given out to the participants of the Asia Championship SP 2015 Side Event Tournament.

Featuring Yugo and Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon, this half-size playmat is printed on a glossy surface.

There were about 128 copies of this playmat given out initially.

 

This playmat was given to the participants of the Rank-Up League 2015 Autumn Season Tournament.

Featuring El Shaddoll Wendigo and El Shaddoll Winda, this full-size playmat is printed on a glossy surface.

64 for Taiwan and 32 each for Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore – there were about 192 copies of this playmat in given out.

This playmat was awarded to the Champion of each region’s Rank-Up League 2015 Autumn Season Tournament.

This playmat is similar to the one given to the participants, but without the card zones and with an additional “Champion” printed on it.

1 each for Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan – there were only 5 copies of this playmat given out.

 

This playmat was given to the participants of the tournaments and activities held at C3 in Hong Kong 2016.

Featuring The Winged Dragon of Ra – Immortal Phoenix, this full-size playmat is printed on a glossy surface.

There were about 114 copies of this playmat given out initially.

 

This playmat was given to the participants of the Rank-Up League 2015 Winter Season Tournament.

Featuring Shaddoll Hound, Shaddoll Beast, Shaddoll Squamata and El Shaddoll Anoyatyllis, this full-size playmat is printed on a glossy surface.

64 for Taiwan and 32 each for Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore – there were about 192 copies of this playmat given out.

This playmat was given out to the participants of the Asia Championship 2016 Side Event Tournament.

Featuring chibi Dark Magician Girl, this half-size playmat is printed on a glossy surface.

There were about 134 copies of this playmat given out initially.

 

This playmat was given out to the participants of the Tag Tournament held at Asia International Ani-Com Expo 2016, and the 3v3 Team Tournament held at Hong Kong Toy Festival 2016.

112 for AC Expo 2016 and 48 for Hong Kong Toy Festival 2016 – there were 160 copies of this playmat given out initially.

128 for AFA Singapore 2016 and 96 for Comic Fiesta 2016 – there were 224 copies of this playmat given out initially.
