Zhongshan-Haozi (中山-豪子) went 7-1-1 and finished 1st in “Zhongzhu League & DM Store Opening Tournament” which had 63 participants.

In his Swordsoul build, he ran a small Destiny HERO package consisting of 1 Destiny HERO – Dasher, 1 Destiny HERO – Celestial, 3 Fusion Destiny in the Main Deck and 1 Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer and 1 Predaplant Verte Anaconda in the Extra Deck. Fusion Destiny does not have a condition that restricts Special Summon for the turn, but an effect that is applied only after the card resolves. This allows the player to perform all their Special Summons first, then activate Fusion Destiny at the end to Fusion Summon Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer.

Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer and Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous also has good synergy. Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer ② effect can be used to destroy itself and another card on the field, sending itself to the graveyard. During the End Phase, because a Fusion Monster was sent to the graveyard, Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous ③ effect can be activated to add itself from the graveyard to hand. Since Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer could Special Summon itself from the graveyard during the next Standby Phase, this allows Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous effect to be used repeatedly on every of your own turn, ensuring a constant stream of Swordsoul monster.

Taki (たき) went 5-1 and finished 1st in “2nd DCS 2v2 Team Battle” which had 30 teams (60 participants).

He ran 1 Artifact Scythe in the Main Deck which can be fetched by Cyber Angel Benten. After setting Artifact Scythe on the field, Crystron Halqifibrax ② effect can be activated during opponent’s Main Phase to Special Summon T.G. Wonder Magician. T.G. Wonder Magician effect would destroy Artifact Scythe, triggering its effect that Special Summons it and then restricts the opponent from Special Summoning monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn. T.G. Wonder Magician and Artifact Scythe can then be used to Accel Synchro Summon Baronne de Fleur.

In addition to Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal in the Extra Deck, he also ran Shooting Riser Dragon in the Side Deck for sending Token Collector from deck to the graveyard when going against Swordsoul.

Virtual World

Sirokkokun (シロッコくん) went 6-2 and finished 1st in “Yu-Gi-Oh! Adachi CS in Aichi Prefecture BookOff Seiyu Okazaki Store” (3v3 Team) which had 40 teams (120 participants).

He ran 1 Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal in the Side Deck for sending Token Collector from deck to the graveyard when going against Swordsoul. Other possible tech options to go along with Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal are Mischief of the Gnomes against Virtual World, Necroworld Banshee and Zombie World against Floowandereeze.

Swordsoul held onto its first position for a consecutive third week, while Virtual World was overtaken by Drytron this week.

Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer continues to make its impact on the metagame. HERO has been propelled up to the fourth position tying with Eldlich, while Destiny HERO Orcust has been putting up a decent performance.
