One question regarding these tournaments: The way it looks to me, every Asian country has a National WCQ Qualifier and a Challenger Cup, which play under different formats (regular OCG and Asia English), but feed into the same WCQ. Is that how it works? Thanks 🙂

Yes. Asia currently has 2 formats, the standard OCG (Japanese) format and Asia English format. The champions of each regions’ WCQ and Challenger Cup are invited to the Asia WCQ where everyone will play the OCG format to determine who goes to Worlds.

Similarly, China Mainland currently also has 2 formats, the standard OCG (Japanese) format and Simplified Chinese format. The winners are invited to the China Mainland WCQ where everyone will play the OCG format to determine who goes to Worlds.
