NAWCQ Needs to be updated.
My apologies. I have just returned from judging at the Asia Championship 2015 in Taiwan, so updates for this week will be slightly delayed.
It’s ok. Just for some help:
1st Place Burning Abyss
2nd Place Burning Abyss
4th Place Ritual Beast
7th Place Ritual Beast
Where in Kyoto ?!
Sources (maxut,yu-gioheditionsingapore, http://www.icckyoto.or.jp/en/calendar/201508.html) point
towards the International Conference Center.
I,d like to know that too. As far as I can tell, the address isn,t made public yet(but I cannot read Japanese). The Google Maps link on the page of the tournament is the Kyoto town hall, which does not seem like a good location for a card game tournament to me. I especially change the schedule of my holiday to be able to attend the World Championship,so if anyone has the address of the venue PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately there is currently no information of the actual venue where the World Championship 2015 will be held in Kyoto.
That location is just a placeholder until I can get accurate information from perhaps one of the invited players who has received the player’s packet, or the official website.

Thanks! Much appreciated.
The south american representative is brazilian. Pls fix
It is written on the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Event Coverage that Gerardo Delgado is from Peru.
The 2015 WCQ Invite List – Latin America also has him listed as from Peru.
Do you mean that the representative rights has been passed down to someone else from Brazil?
If I recalled it correctly, there was a qualifier in Middle East area this year. Is that right?
No. There was a rumor that the winner of the Kuwait national championship would go to Worlds.
That turned out to be false, he got to play in the European WCQ instead. Presumably, the rest of the Middle-Eastern countries where Yu-gi-oh! is played, will also be represented at the European WCQ but that is unknown as of now.
most boring worlds ever to many mirror matches …. if they decide to play similar decks
For the World Championships, which ruling is in play ? OCG or TCG ? As I see TCG exclusive decks such as Burning Abyss being used..
The OCG ruling has always been favored, as documented in my old blog: Rulings at the World Championship.
Do note that World Exclusive Cards will be forbidden at the World Championship itself, so there will be no Burning Abyss.
Thanks alot for the reply 🙂 . Is the active banlist OCG as well ?
No, the World Championship will be using a banlist that is made exclusively to be used in the World Championship.
Here is the World Championship 2014 Forbidden and Limited List for reference.
