Card Stores in Kowloon
Kowloon is a trendy urban area of Hong Kong known for the shopping districts along Nathan Road that runs from Sham Shui Po to Tsim Sha Tsui. From Ladies’ Market in Mongkok to Victoria Harbour in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon has plenty of attractions to offer.
For those visiting Hong Kong, perhaps for the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! Open Tournament Hong Kong 2025, here are some card shops that you may be interested to visit.

From Cheung Sha Wan Station, take Exit A2. Once you have reached the surface, walk straight until you reached Un Chau Street (元州街), then take a right turn and continue straight. Entrance to Smiling Plaza would be on your left up ahead, look out for the signage that says “天悅廣場”.
Smiling Plaza is a rundown building that became a trading card game haven as the whole building is full of card shops. A quick search on Neuron returns the following list of card stores located within Smiling Plaza.

The above are just some card stores that carries Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG products, and there are several other card stores that focus on other trading card games such as Pokemon TCG, One Piece Card Game, Digimon Card Game, Union Arena, Battle Spirits, Cardfight!! Vanguard, Weiß Schwarz.
Many card stores would make use of their glass shop front to display the cards and products they have for sale. The card shops are mostly small and do not have playing space inside. Instead they would setup tables and chairs outside the shop in the corridor when running a shop tournament.
Smiling Plaza is an interesting congregation of people who love trading card games. Several card stores are opened by players themselves who hold a different day job, and could only open their card stores after work. The opening hours stated above are a rough aggregated timing that many card stores operate by, but generally the crowd would come in the late afternoon on weekdays.

Players’ Club is a well-known card store in Hong Kong where many champions and top players come to hone their skills. The showcase cabinets in the store is a magnificent display of all the trophies that their players have won throughout the years.
An extraordinary piece of Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG/TCG history – the very first Yu-Gi-Oh! World Champion trophy (Millennium Puzzle cased in a transparent pyramid) is on display at the counter. A copy of the first Yu-Gi-Oh! World Champion deck is also framed up above the trophy.
Players’ Club has plenty of playing space, making it a very attractive and conducive environment for many top players to gather and practice before an upcoming major tournament.
